Directors Shawn Levy and Ryan Gosling Announce "Star Wars: Starfighters" at Tokyo's Star Wars Celebr

The film is set five years after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It will go into production this autumn and is scheduled to be released in the United States on May 28, 2027.

Levy stated, "There have been a lot of rumors out there, some true and some false. … This film is neither a prequel nor a sequel. It's an entirely new adventure."
